I'm building a pc for the first time so I want to know if this is a good build or not. Not going to be over clocking and I will be getting a HDD a month after I get the build done. I will be gaming most of the time of the week (when I'm done school) and I have a budget of $930. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/b3DQHN there's the parts.

Everything's nice,

But for a bit more you can get 2 extra cores with the 1600
I'd change is the PSU as well, this one is modular and higher quality.

I would recommend the r5 1600 over the r5 1500x, You get an additional 2 cores/4 threads for not much more money. Everything else looks perfect.

Actually it comes out to be about $10 more to get the 1600 because you don't need to purchase an aftermarket cooler.

For $10 more you can get a 1600 instead of the 1500x. The 1600 has 2 more cores and 4 more threads. I don't see much of a reason for the 1500x. I would also go with the sea sonic PSU. This will still keep you under budget

Hi Jason,
Yeah, that's a decent rig. Just to confirm, you'll get an SSD + an HDD? That is totally up to you, but you'd save money with just one hard drive. I know the SSD option is interesting, but I assume you'd put most of your games on the HDD (as the SDD would fill up quickly).

But like I said, it will be a decent rig. :)
UPDATE: And I agree with the other posts. :)

Cheers,
J
