I bought a refurbed Optiplex 780 SFF with a 1 TB Hard Drive and 8 G RAM. All I'm doing is office work and some streaming, so this machine is more than enough for me, but I am having trouble with the GPU. It's causing me some problems with resolution and won't send sound through the DisplayPort. I've currently got a Intel(R) 4 Series Express Chipset. According to Intel, they stopped updating the drivers a while ago and it isn't compatible with Windows 10. This seems to be the source of my problem. The easiest solution seems to be upgrading the GPU, preferably to something with an actual HDMI port. Others have posted about upgrading this CPU on a budget, but the goal usually seems to be gaming which would require something better than I need.

What is a reliable, budget friendly GPU that would work with this CPU? I won't be gaming, just office work with some occasional Netflix. Thanks for any advice!

Well, that didn't work. I purchased the GT 730, but it's too big. Mine pc is the Small Form Factor. Any recommendations for a card that will fit?

So, I just want to update this in case anyone else has a similar issue. I purchased the Gigabyte 1030 that was suggested. It is Low Profile, but the bracket is too wide. I never could find anything the right size and prepared to return it, but....

then I found this for $5.69. It's a half size bracket for Nvidia Cards. I've ordered it and expect it to solve the problem along with the 1030. I'll update this if it doesn't work out.
