Hello everyone,

My friend has a computer with a Pentium g3528 haswell and a gtx 750 ti. I wanted to overclock the pentium for him, but the motherboard he is using (Gigabyte h81m-h) was stuck in fast boot, and the only way for me to get him out of fast boot so i could access bios was to clear the cmos. I guided him through the process over facetime, and it seems to me that he did it correctly. He popped out the battery for a minute, shorted the cmos pins with a flathead screwdriver, stuff like that. However, his computer will not post anymore. It gives a regular beep like it always does when turned on, and all of the fans and everything spin like normal. We have tried using both the hdmi on the gpu and the motherboard, tried using one ram stick, reseated both ramsticks. It will not post. Please help!

EDIT: My friend just restarted his computer a bunch of times and it randomly started working again. Any reason to this that anyone can think of?
