new i7 4790k cooler high temps under load in games

hi i just got this new i7 4790k i had an master cooler hyper tx3i on my i5 4460 and the temps on that one was around 66c when its was stress and high load on 100 % cpu usage but when i put it on my i7 4790k without overclock i have 70+ c in games? its just the cpu? that have high temps under load ? i did remounted the cooler like 3 times so its in place the cooler or its just the hyper tx3i that not do handle the cpu very vell i did cool i5 alot ! :D

They are a hot running cpu, i have one, High GHz, they are pushed to their limit. 70c sounds about right on that heatsink/fan. I would suggest a cooling upgrade, such as a all in one watercooler,like a nzxt kraken x61/62 etc
Mine got 70s on gaming I now use a kraken x42 with two...

Mine got 70s on gaming I now use a kraken x42 with two fans on radiator (push/pull) and overclock my 4790k to 4.6 GHz, runs 50/55c on games at the most

That's with performance mode on the cooler. Maybe got a good chip in the lottery :)
