I bought a prebuilt of about a year ago and I have been having some problems with the wifi due to my computer only being able to connect to 2.4 GHz networks. I know that it is a Netis Wireless 802.11n Adapter but I also need to know which card to but in order to replace it took connect to 5ghz networks

Solution
Go inside device manager and locate your card. It is most likely under Network Adaptors.

Right click on the device, select properties, then details tab. Select hardware id's and copy the bottom hardware id.

Paste it into google and see if it will lead you to a device page to give you model of your card.

If not, you may need to just shut down the PC, open it up and try to read the serial number off the card.
