installed the wifi driver?
wifi turned on? if its a laptop
if yes to that go to device manager
and make sure in power management section of your wifi adapter if its got turn off this device to save power option its unticked

Its not a laptop. I have updated my drivers with driver booster before. It updates drivers and from the device manager too but i cant see wifi driver from device manager. I havue there a lot wan miniport drivers and my main network driver

did the wifi ever work?
and it should be in device manager even if its as an unknown device if the driver didnt install

looking at gigabyte site yours doesnt have built in wifi
and yes a usb or pci-e card should work
