I built my PC a year ago, and everything has been running fine. Recently, I bought a second GPU to supplement y existing one as planned in my PC build from the start, and the computer won't turn on. No lights, nothing. My suspicion is somehow there was a short in the PSU, despite it being capable of handling the power load.

Specs: Gigabyte GA-Z97X-UD3H MB
ASUS STRIX Nvidia GTX 970 GPU
Intel i7-4770 CPU
2x 8GB Corsair VENGEANCE-series RAM
EVGA NEX750B 750-watt PSU

Second GPU I attempted to install was a second ASUS STRIX GTX 970.

EDIT: After reinstalling the GPU and plugging everything back in, the computer starts and boots fine, but I am unsure if the second GPU has power. The power cable LED is not on.

Solution
Hey,
You should try removing both GPU. Then put one of them to see if it boots. Then switch the GPU to see if it boots with this one.

And, is the power cable LED on with the 1st GPU??

Cheers,
J
