Is there any point getting a graphics card if i have an apu?

I have the AMD A10 7860k apu and was wondering if it is worth buying the gigabyte 1050ti. I dont really know if it will improve my system or it will just be useless.

The problem with the a10 is it's cpu part is very weak and can't handle todays game anymore. So I recommend you just get a whole new pc since your a10 is going to hold any new gpu back in any new game (except ones that are very light on your cpu.)

i use it for gaming at the moment, i play overwatch and some other mmos but would like to go onto more demanding games
