Mouse not working in certain areas on my desk

Hi,

So I've been having this problem for a while now where there is like small dead spots on my desk where the mouse just doesn't work until it's dragged off that dead spot. I've used two mousepads and both have the same problem in the same areas on the desk.

My mouse is a Logitech M310T and the mousepads I used were the SteelSeries Steelpad Qck Mini and the Razer Goliathus XL

USB nano receiver - correct?

Try placing the Nano-receiver on the end of a USB extension cable to bring the Nano-receiver up and away from its present location.

The Nano-receiver may be starting to falter and no longer can send/receive as it originally did when new.

And also remember to try new mouse batteries as applicable.
