Okay, so I have a Toshiba Satellite L50-A specs below, basically what happens is when my GPU gets put under load while in a game or something it just stops working, my system locks up for a few seconds then it switches to intergrated graphics on my CPU. When I launch nvidia control panel it says there is no GPU detected, but here's the thing, if I restart my laptop it goes back to normal with he GPU working fine until I put it under load again.

Specs:
CPU- I5-4200U
RAM: 8gb ddr3
GPU- nvidia GT 740M
OS- windows 10

Solution
1- use a an air blower to blow the dust inside your PC pieces .. clean it thoroughly from dust before prior use.
2- lower screen resolution to the lowest possible durable one .. like 800 x 600 or more a little bit .. don't exhaust your GPU with today high screen DPI configuration .
