Hello, yesterday i bought a used gtx 750ti(gigabyte low profile version) for my dell optiplex 760

(http://i.dell.com/das/dih.ashx/500x500/das/xa_____/global-site-design%20WEB/66cc0ce0-8ac9-4b5d-ebd6-0120c03b3261/1/OriginalPng?id=Dell/Product_Images/Dell_Client_Products/Desktops/OptiPlex_Desktops/OptiPlex_760/right_facing/desktop-optiplex-760-minitower-right-relativesized-500.png)

wich i run with 2 hdd and a gt730 most of the time, so i tried to switch the gpu after unscrewing the motherboard and it wasn't very stable :
-first when i connect the pc to the voltage he made a beeping sound so i tried without the card and he worked fine then i put the card and boot on
-I manage to install all the latest drivers and reboot, then i restart the computer
-Everything worked fin but when i launched steam the computer crashed and first he don't want to boot, i could see the fan starting and stopping quickly.
-After a few minutes i could boot again but the computer doesn't want to boot in windows
-i switch with my gt 730 and the computer worked normally

So i don't know if my psu wasn't enough for the card or if it was damaged (i tried the card with the seller and it worked)

sorry for my bad english

That's a very popular card for those. If you have the MT, or DT case it should work. Some of the SFF, and USFF size MB have a 35W gGPU limit.
MT= Mini Tower (vertical case)
DT= Desktop (horizontal case)
SFF= Small Desktop
USFF=Smallest Desktop.
Go to Dell support and enter the Service Tag number form the label on your computer. look up service manual and find the specifications. if there is a limit it should be noted there. The GT730 is a good overclocker if you end up having to keep it.

I have a DT for sure, and i also overclocked my gt730 to is full potential. The gtx750ti is not for me but for a friend so i dont know if i retry to plug it in the motherboard (wich is complicate because it's not the good format), i'm too afraid of damaging it, can it be damaged by a lack of wattage ?
