10 And 14 Core ThreadRipper CPUs?

Does anybody know why we are not seeing 10 and 14 core ThreadRipper CPUs? You'd think AMD would release 10 and 14 core variants along side their 8 12 and 16 core models, especially to compete with Intel.

I'm thinking they can't because of architecture issues but I hope i'm wrong.

AMD has two ThreadRipper models that are stocked and almost ready for sale (currently for pre-order). There is a 14 core and a 16 core variant thus far, this is just their top of the line ThreadRipper processors to steal competition from Intel though. There is said to be a 8 core ThreadRipper that is about as fast as a 1800x but with more features, to come in the future. From AMD's patterns on releasing CPU models, ThreadRipper variants with less cores are very likely to come, just after they make a lot of sales on the 1920x/1950x. Just remember that we are just as much in the dark as you are because AMD hasn't even released any ThreadRippers yet (Excusing Alien-ware). Meaning that they are still withholding a lot of info about...
