So I have an old dell desktop computer. I recently bought a new micro-atx case and am buying new components. I'm wondering if I can take that old motherboard (g41t-dm rev a00) and take it and put a intel g4560 along with an gtx 1050 with ddr4 ram. I'm trying to build a gaming computer but with the old motherboard.

You can not put a new CPU into an old motherboard. The G4560 REQUIRES a 100 or 200 series Intel motherboard. You have a 40 series motherboard. You will have to have a new motherboard (B250 chipset is a good choice) to go with that CPU, RAM and graphics.
