best way to clean laptop screen?

For the past few weeks, my laptop screen has appeared... greasy would be the best way to put it. I've tried using a microfiber cloth, but it does nothing. Any ideas?

A micro-fiber cloth, slightly dampened with water. Don't use paper towels (will scratch); don't use chemical cleaners (e.g., Windex, etc.).

If it's really dirty, use a micro-fiber cloth that is quite wet (but don't let water run on the screen); then a dry one to finish the job.
