Hello,
I have fiber optic with phone and tv. I was looking for a new modem, currently have a ZTE ZXHN F668, the one which was given by them. I tried to find one but didn't work that well. I'm not used with the terms from this domain. I am paying for 1 Gbps up and down and I get on speed test 80 Mbps up and down and can download with a max of 15 MB/s . I am looking for something with a better modem in terms of speed and signal.

If this device is supplied from your ISP, and the ethernet ports do not work...make them give you a new one.

All I'm saying is...the WiFi connection introduces an extra layer of 'who knows what may or may not be broken'.

But don't just go buying a new router, until you know that a new router will actually solve the problem.
Currently, you do not know what the problem actually is.

Is this in the US or elsewhere? Who is your provider?
Is your speed test wired or WiFi?
What specific site are you testing this to? Screencap, please.

If you are testing this via a wired connection, and seeing 80mbps, when you are supposed to be getting 1Gbps...then it is probably not your problem to fix, but theirs.

I have internet from DIGI RCS&RDS, fiber optic(wireless) network. It's not in US it's in Europe,Romania. I test my speed on speedtest.net (i don't know if advertising is allowed,if not sorry didn't mean to).

'fiber optic' and 'wireless' are two completely different things.

Is this fiber to the house, and then wireless to your PC?
Or something else?

Fiber comes into the house then to modem then i connect to internet using wireless trough my pc

Then the difference between your 1Gbps from your ISP, and the 80mbps you see at your PC is 100% the fault of your WiFi situation.

You need to connect a computer to the router via an ethernet cable.
Run the speedtest again.
If you get near 1Gbps, then the signal you're getting from the ISP is just fine.
If you see significantly less, then the ISP or your router is at fault. Call them.

Speed tests via WiFi don't count.

I have 75/75 fiber connection at my house.
Via WiFi, I might see 65mbps, or 25mbps, depending on which end of the house I'm in.

You must test this via a wired connection.

The ethernet ports are disabled... None of them works so i can't test that thing. I tried to connect computer via ethernet before but didn't work. The problem is the signal, which is poor and the moment when someone starts downloading anything the internet is barely working on other devices.
