So my pc won’t boot at all, it instantly turns off about 10 seconds into my bios, I was thinking this may be because of over heating but I reapplied thermal paste and still having the same problem, can gpu’s cause this to happen also? Just stumped and refuse to take it to a store for them diagnose due to the large price tag they charge

It somewhat depends on how it "turns off". If the case/cpu/gfx fans stop spinning that would more likely be a PSU shutdown due to detecting something out of whack like a voltage too high or low.

If the fans continue to spin it could be the mobo, CPU, or RAM. If that was the case and you have a case speaker attached to the mobo, you should hear some beeps. The beep pattern will tell you what is wrong. If you don't have a case speaker, get one. If you have a speaker and don't hear any beeps, that would be an indication of a bad PSU or mobo.

So tell us your computer specs and exactly what happens at power up in the sequence it happens.
