Hi,

recently I have upgraded my pc almost entirely with only the HDD and GPU remaining. Things have been fine through the first few days i've been playing games with no issue and everything seemed fine.

However tonight I was playing Counter Strike: Global Offensive and had been for around 2 hours when suddenly I lost monitor signal and suddenly the fans became very loud, what I assume to be them spinning at 100%. I am unsure if it was all the fans or just 1 or 2 of the 3.

I'm stumped as to what could possibly be causing this as many of the parts have just been changed so any help or advice on this would be greatly appreciated.

CPU: AMD RYZEN 5 1600
Motherboard: Gigabyte - GA-AB350-GAMING 3 ATX AM4
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 16GB
PSU: EVGA - SuperNOVA G3
GPU: MSI GeForce GTX 760 2GB Twin Frozr

The fact that the fans suddenly all jumped to full speed means that your mobo did a complete reboot and then got stuck in the very first stages of the POST process, unable to complete that. This might be a flaw of the mobo, or a flaw of the PSU. It's also possible, I suppose, that there was a loose connection that has come really loose. If you have your old PSU around and it can fit in temporarily, try using that to test whether the system can get through POST with a different PSU.

Sorry I also forgot to mention that after this occured I restarted the pc via the power button and it booted normally and appeared to be running fine again with the fans spinning at normal speed
