AMD Ryzen Threadripper build (first time builder)

This is my first build. I was wondering if the parts I have selected for are compatible and if they will have a good end result. I plan on using this rig for 3D rendering and animation as well as gaming. If anyone has a good recommendation for custom cables could you drop those along with your other suggestions.

Only thing I'd suggest is faster memory (don't know yet how well it's compatibility will be) but if regular ryzen loves faster memory thread ripper having more ccx connections could only love it more.


Also as for the cooler I'd wait and see what exists around launch. A good portion of the ihs won't be covered with that cooler. Maybe that's fine, maybe it's not. I think a thrradripper is built for exactly what you're doing I'd just wait till the launch reviews to order my memory and CPU cooler personally.
