Hi SO, I am very pleased to announce that I've finally did it...I've built my very own pc...With alot of research I finally managed to put it up and probably has to be one of the most exciting yet very stressful experience of my life, I pushed the power button to finally see that IT WORKED.

Woot woot!

Now...I don't know what to do exactly to have an actual functioning pc, sure it's working but you know what I mean.

here's my pc specs:

Asus crosshair hero vi
ryzen 7 1700
Asus ROG strix gtx 1080
samsung evo 850 250gb ssd
1 tb wd black HDD
EVGA super nove 650w g2

Now I know that I need to update my BIOS to the latest functional one, I need to install windows (bought a version that is on a usb stick), I need to download some drivers...for my gpu and other things like like audio...LAN and a bunch of other things that I don'T know but how do I do all of this? can someone help me out step by step please?

Thank you...this is very exciting :)

You can update the BIOS at any time, if needed (independently from the OS). What you can do now is install Windows.

I think I figured the BIOS one but should I update the BIOS? some people tell me not to as it can cause more problems than anything, my pc is basically built from scratch, there's literally nothing on it not even an os.
