Questions about the i7-7700k (non-OC'd), and CPUs in general. (Temps, Performance, Cooling, etc)

Say, if I have it paired with a GTX 1080Ti and will be playing @1080p, Max Settings, this will create a CPU bottleneck will it not?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but this means that the 7700k will be a limiting factor to drawing out fps right?

For example, if the 7700k can only draw 144fps in a game, adding a 1080Ti will not change the total fps, and will still only draw 144fps because of the 7700k, am I right?

If that happens and the 7700k has already reached its full potential, will this be considered as it being under heavy load, and under 100% usage?

I have read in some threads and articles that the 7700k can run really hot (85-100℃), and even around 40-45℃ when idle. If, say, I will be gaming for 8-12 hours a day and is reaching these temps, will it be dangerous to the processor itself, and to the whole system?

In this case, liquid cooling will already be necessary, right?

But assuming that the room will be air-conditioned and the ambient temps will be around 24℃, will air cooling be sufficient then? Or will liquid cooling still be necessary?

Thanks a bunch.

At 1080p, with 1080ti ,then surely any cpu will be a bottleneck. May be you can use up scaling to 2k @144hz or 4k. Unless you oc the cpu or not, the Intel stock cooler can't keep Temps new 70c while even in normal gaming. At least try to get the custom air cooler like evo 212 hyper it can handle around 4.4ghz but above that liquid cooler is necessary
