I've got a gtx 1060 that runs around 1911-1949 mhz just with gpu boost . I got 16 gigs of trident z that runs at 2666 mhz . Will overclocking my r5 1600 to 3.7-3.8 ghz help with my performance ? I'm just talking about gaming .

You have the ability to overclock a bit and see for yourself.

The question will be if the results are worth it to you.
It really will depend on the types of games you will play.
