I just read an article that this CPU is having some major issues with some Motherboards? Sorry not much of a good question but yeah? Is this CPU no good?

Solution
Sorry about the delayed response...With my 4.4Ghz all I did was go into the bios and change the 'CPU Core Clock Ratio' from 40 to 44...thats it. Save and exit and you should have 4.4Ghz... Getting 4.4 on the i7-6700k should not be a problem at all. I did not have to mess with any other settings. To go higher than 4.4, you need to start adding Vcore in super small increments. I had to go to 1.320 for a 4.5Ghz overclock. Here is a guide..a little complex but should help https://www.tweaktown.com/guides/7481/tweaktowns-ultimate-intel-skylake-overclocking-guide/index.html

Which article? At least you could have provided a link to the article.

The 6700k is as rock solid as you can get. I have been running mine at 4.4Ghz on all cores for a long, long time with no issues on a Gigabyte z170x motherboard. I also know many people who have the 6700k and no issues at all across Asus, MSI and ASrock motherboards..

Neat. Would you be so kind as to tell me how to overclock it? Mine's running at 4.0GHz but I wanna try and see if some issues I'm having might be solved by overclocking...
