Hi all! Haven't posted in a while so here it goes -

I am currently running a PC that would've been good in like 2007 - I have been on this PC for about 3 years now and I am honestly just getting really sick of how slow it is.

I am not a hardcore gamer - The game I play daily is actually FSX and I have many demanding addons that run OK - but the sim is tweaked so much to the point it looks like FS2002 haha.

I have an Xbox One S and a PS4 which I NEVER use and will be selling to gain some money to put towards this:

I want a PC that is a good starting point - Like if possible - an i5 processor, 8gb RAM, and a GTX 1050 or something. Come christmas, I will sell my graphics card I have in the <new> PC and get money to put towards a better one - like a 1060 and also 16GB of RAM. Mayeb a better processor down the line, but an i5 is great for me.

All I would be doing on this PC is 80% FSX (Or XP11/P3D performance depending) and 20% GTA V, PUBG, Call Of Duty etc. and daily activities like browsing Chrome etc.

I know £500-600 is an absolute push and maybe impossible but the maximum I would go to is £700 for an initial price (Which I would not like it to come to that much)

And as I said earlier - I would be upgrading the GPU and RAM in December anyway - so even if the initial PC can't run the mentioned games - that is absolutely fine.
Anything is better than my current machine (Q9550, HD7770, 8GB DDR2 RAM ffs)

Thanks guys I hope you can find me something!

P.S - I would like to have an Intel/nvidia machine as AMD isn't so good with flight sims I've heard. Also I don't need windows or any OS.

EDIT 1: I've just actually found a PartPicker list and edited it a bit - Is this: https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/3yzw4C not quite good? I think its great for me but would like an opinion :)

Changes made
MoBo: MSI B250M PRO-VD -> MSI B250M PRO-VDH
GPU: Zotac GTX 1050 Ti -> Zotac GTX 1060 3GB
Case: Bitfenix Nova -> Bitfenix Nova with window
PSU: Corsair CXM 550W -> Seasonic M12II-620 EVO

Reasons why
MoBo: MSI B250M PRO-VDH has 4 RAM slots, making any further RAM upgrades far easier.

GPU: With additional 30 quid, you can have GTX 1060 3 GB GPU. For GTX 1060 6GB GPU, you're looking to pay extra 100 quid.
It's up to you to decide if you want to spend extra 100 quid just to get additional 3GB of VRAM or not.
To me, the extra cost wasn't worth it and i bought GTX 1060 3GB GPU for my Skylake build. I can play all my games with ultra settings @ 1080p with solid 60+ FPS just fine. With the extra money left over from GPU, i bought far better PSU to my build. Full specs with pics in my sig.

Case: Switched it to the windowed version to give you some eyecandy.

PSU: Corsair CXM series PSUs are mediocre quality units. Replaced your PSU with good quality unit from Seasonic. M12II-620 EVO is also fully modular compared to the semi-modular Corsair CXM 550W.

Solution
I think you can salvage ur HDD. So I included a ssd. If you can manage with that HD 7770, all you need to do is upgrade the gpu to a decent one like the gtx1070 and call it a day.
