Need help upgrading my pc please

So i have been out of the loop lately and i just recently bought a gtx 1050 ti as an upgrade. I play battlegrounds and i still get some chop laggy especially when the action is happening. Does anyone have any suggestions on what i should upgrade next? this is my current motherboard and processor

any recommendations? I prefer to upgrade processor or ram instead of touching the motherboard, but if i need a new motherboard and thats what is causing the fps issue then i guess i will get a new one. Thank you in advance!

PUBG and any other multi-player arena games usually take a lot of CPU resources and the FX 6100 doesn't probably cut it. I would be upgrading your CPU to a new platform and of course then mobo/RAM need to be as well. I would not be You didn't give a budget so I just tried to match the CPU to the 1050 Ti while keeping costs as low as possible. The new Ryzen 3 CPU look to be the new best bet over Pentiums and i3's. I would not be investing money in an AM3+ CPU, your mobo will not be for using any FX 8xxx or FX 9xxx processor and the new Ryzen's will run circles around them anyways.

If you are not interested in overclocking then you might want to consider spending another $20 for a 1300X.
