Over the past month I have had issues with my internet connection dropping. So far I have done basic troubleshooting, replaced my modem, bypassed the router by connecting my computer straight to the modem, replaced all connectors in the coaxial cable, ran a different coaxial cable from the box outside to my modem, and have had multiple tech guys from Spectrum to look at my connection. Each person has said that my connection is fine, because when I am connected, everything works great but I still continue to drop connection. At this point I have no idea what to do.

When I disconnect, sometimes all the lights on my modem go out (downstream, upstream, and online) and others they all remain solid when I drop. Before, the downstream light would remain solid, and the upstream would go back to blinking, but it was suggested to change the channel in my router settings from auto to channel 1, which seems to have reduced the disconnects a little bit, but are still fairly frequent.

I have talked with my neighbors and they said they haven't noticed any issues with their internet whatsoever.

You need to ask the technician to check the switch at the exchange.

If your technicians are like ours in Australia and are lazy it probably hasn't been checked yet.
