Hello, recently I had moved and in the process I managed to get a tiny tiny bit of water on my mobo. At first I didn't think any rain had even made it to my case and it was fine the first day of playing. Then the next day I go to turn it on and it wont display anything on my monitor, so I retry and eventually it works fine again. After working for about a minute it reboots and then says there is a memory problem on my screen. I restart it again and it would not stop powering on and off constantly so I had to unplug my pc completely. I then finally looked at my mobo and noticed 2 pea sized spots of corrosion on my motherboard kind of around the graphics card, but not on the gcard. I took everything apart and scrubbed down the motherboard with 91% isopropyl alcohol and a toothbrush lighly, let it dry and put everything back together again. As I turned it on it kept powering on and off repetatively. Then I reset cmos battery on my motherboard which allowed me to get into the bios menu, but that doesnt help me at all. Mostly now it will boot up but says it has to repair windows and just gets stuck on the windows loading screen.

If it helps I sometimes will get the error code a2 on my motherboard.
Should I just buy a new motherboard or is there any way I could possibly fix the one I have now?
Any tips/comments are appreciated

Solution
Well, I guess that would be easiest solution, but I would take out everything and take the mobo to local PC repair shop so they can test it so you can be sure before spending money .
Good luck!

According to your manual error code A2 refers to:
A0 - A7
Problem related to IDE or SATA devices. Please re-install IDE and SATA devices.
If the problem still exists, please clear CMOS and try removing all SATA devices.

Which leads me to suggest, try and remove all your storage devices and have only your boot drive connected off the first native SATA port. Can you please post a picture of the affected area in relation to your motherboard?

I ran it with only my SSD (only storage with windows on it) and I no longer get the error code, but nothing shows up on my monitor at all now.
*Update
I tried using an HDMI cord and it's now getting a signal but crashing when trying to start windows with the error code saying "inaccessible boot device".
Also I was able to access get into my desktop via safemode

For some oddball reason, after I went into safe mode and restarted, my PC turned back to normal. It was running for about and hour but then crashed. So I just restarted it and going to see if it crashes again.

Unfortunately my PC is having the same problems over and over again after it crashes every hour, right now its not even reading a stick of my ram. I'm thinking I'll be better off getting a new mobo as there are so many different problems going on with it.
