I Want to buy a gaming laptop for college, and im wondering what sort of specifications i would need for a laptop to smoothly run a game like subnatica which i enjoyed on xbox but was extremely laggy

don't worry about it
as to the computer that looks like a great deal and the specs are more then enough to run subnautica and should outlive any changes made to the game although it might have slow start up times due to it being a hdd and moving files will take some time. if you don't want this try find one with a ssd (solid state drive) they are also more reliable
other than that its a great deal
