Hello,
I was thinking of making a ryzen build soon and i've heard that RAM speeds are more relevant with Ryzen overclocking than Intel.
I heard on a forum that Ballistix isnt a good memory brand to overclock.
Is this true?

Ballistix is a range coming from Crucial which is owned by Micron. If you should they have their own branded memory IC's.

The key point is not which brand of ram you go for but which speed of rams you look at. As of the latest AGESA update you can drop in any ram kit upto DDR4-3200MHz and the board should boot up without any issues.

I'm curious though, what are your(proposed) full system's specs and where are you buying all your parts from?

Thanks for your response.
I've already got my own build but im building a PC for a friend.
I live in Australia and i've found that buying parts from Amazon is cheaper than buying parts in Aus lol.
He wants a budget build and im thinking...

Ryzen 3 1200
EVGA 1050Ti 4GB
8GB DDR4 (not sure what brand)
Deepcool tesseract sw
MSI ProSeries AMD Ryzen B350 DDR4 B350M PRO-VDH
430w evga 80+ maybe
Not sure about other parts
