I need help figuring out what AC wireless card to order/install in my ASUS. I have an ASUS Laptop - Q550LF-BBI7T07 with an Intel Dual Band Wireless -N 7260 card (Model 7260HMW AN). I tried to contact ASUS to see which card they recommend, and they would not provide any as they say they can't give advice on replacing stock cards.
Intel(R) Core (TM) i7 -4500 cpu @1.8GHz 2.40 GHz
Installed memory (RAM): 15.9 GB
System: 64-bit Operating System, x64-based processor
Windows 10
My wireless router is Netgear Nighthawk X10 - AD7200. In a perfect world the card would allow beamforming and MU-MiMO. But at the very least I want the fastest most powerful card that enables AC connections.
I am fairly remedial when it comes to IT, but am a fan of Google.
Tom's Hardware comes up on several searches and I've used advice from here before. But nothing specific for my laptop could be found. Thanks for the help in advance.
