Hi,

This issue appeared recently, each time when I start my system it boots till desktop without any probs but when i try open any application there is no response but system doesnt hang. I can able click, open "my computer" but applications doesnt open and also INTERNET doesnt connect and shows the loading symbol. After 5-10 minutes everything goes to normal and the clicked applications opens up and internet is connected. I googled on this but couldn't find exact fix. If any1 knows or faced this issue pls post. Thanks

Solution
Problem Solved,

Actually this issue is becoz of Splinter Cell Blacklist which had a bitcoin miner causing heavy CPU usage and system to Freeze.
Uninstalling the game and re installing the OS solved the problem...

Thanks guys
Sounds like you may have too many utilities starting when Windows starts - - Windows won't become "ready to use" until all those startup items have finished loading.

Use CCleaner to see a list of everything that starts with Windows, disable any that you don't need.

You can easily re-enable any of them (with CCleaner) should you need to.

It's essential to keep those startup items under control to avoid a long wait when Windows starts. On my custom-built desktop I only have 5 startup items enabled, not least because every startup item uses a portion of RAM and it can soon add up to a sizeable amount if you don't keep them under control.

You should also consider putting your PC in to sleep mode between sessions instead of shutting it down.

Thanks for ur reply Phil, I assume that u say msconfig -> Startup tab and uncheck all unnecessary apps. Let me post a pic of my startup apps. correct me if I'm wrong.

Or u mean msconfig -> Services???

Is there any way to find which service or app take long time to boot?
