So I've been saving my money and I've decided to upgrade from the terrible Toshiba Satellite C55-C laptop and instead get a PC. I need a PC that can run the Sims 3 smoothly along with Late Night, University Life, Pets, Generations, Seasons and Ambitions. Obviously it needs to be able to use Microsoft Office for my studies. Any recommendations, and under £1000?? :(

You sole intention is to play The Sims 3? That's a pretty light game compared to modern ones, you won't need a PC near as much as £1000...

Do you intend on playing other AAA, E-Sports? Work with video/image editing and stuff or this will just be a office build with a okayish GPU to run TS3?

I dislike pre-built PCs since you can't have full control of it's pieces, but if you insist, this seems a pretty nice option:

Keep a look out for that rx580 since it's still in pre order stage. Would ask you to buy it before stock runs out.
