OK so PUBG eats up about 2 gigs of my 8gb or ddr3 ram but my pc thinks its using up so much that it cant run the pc with pubg running so it crashes/shuts the game down.I know people who play just fine with 8 gbs of ram just fine so idk what it is. ive tried running about 3 usb drives with ready boost but i still crash. on top of this the game occasionally says its run out of video memory (2GB evga 960) not sure if this should be happening but just a side not as the main memory issue is much more prevalent. wanting to know if there is anything I should/could do to fix or help this problem

side note: only crashes in Battlegrounds. I got a notification that dirty bomb also was using too much memory but it didnt crash and that was only once

Solution
Maybe its video memory that is an issue ? Try getting at least screen from manager on resources for guys to help. Also you can go to
Open System by clicking the Start button The Start button
, right-clicking Computer, and then clicking Properties.
In the left pane, click Advanced system settings Administrator permission required
. If you're prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
On the Advanced tab, under Performance, click Settings.
Click the Advanced tab, and then, under Virtual memory, click Change.
Clear the Automatically manage paging file size for all drives check box.
Under Drive[Volume Label], click the drive that contains the paging file you want to change.

Click Custom size, type a new size in megabytes in the Initial size (MB) or Maximum size (MB) box, click Set, and then click OK.

if this helps then get a stick of ram.
