My Motherboard supports 1333Mhz DDR3 RAM. But I have one Adata XPG 8GB 1600Mhz and one PNY 2GB 1333Mhz Ram. So can I put both of them together in my system?

Solution
install Speccy and double whatever MHz it tells you. Example is that speccy will say it is running at 667MHz, if you double that, it is actually running at 1333MHz.

My motherboard support 16GB total RAM. I've seen in many sites they said that both RAM should be of exact same model, same memory, same brand, same piece otherwise I will get clock speed of lower than 1333Mhz.

It will run at the default speed that your motherboard sets. Yes many people will recommend getting matching sticks of RAM, but I almost never run into issues and I mix and match RAM all the time. For example, If you put just one 1866MHz RAM into your motherboard, it will still run at 1333MHz by default until you go into the BIOS and overclock it to 1866MHz.

The speed that is labeled on all sticks of RAM is just the highest that the stick of RAM is "rated" to run by the manufacturer, and usually has the XMP profile set to that for easy overclocking. Meaning you could run that stick at any speed up to what the stick says.

I am happy if both of them will run at 1366 mhz but I've seen many comments in other sites saying that it will unstable my pc. I will get speed of lower then my default motherboard speed (i.e.1366Mhz). It will also cause problems like blue screen and system crash etc..

Ive personally not run into an issue like this unless the amount of RAM was not supported by the motherboard. If you have both sticks, just try it out. If you get blue screens and crashes, remove the 2gb stick and leave the 8gb stick.

I will try that. But my biggest concern is- Will it lower my clock speed to below 1366Mhz?
