Hello!

6-pin connectors are usually required for GPUs above 75W. Gigabyte G1 Gaming 1050ti requires 75W, as mentioned on the official Gigabyte website. But this card has got a 6-pin connector.

My question is:
Will this GPU be able to run without the 6-pin connector?
If i connect it with just the PCI-e connector (which can draw max power my 75W, according to my knowledge), will it function smoothly? or is it necessary to have a 6-pin connector.

P.S: My PSU doesnt have a 6-pin connector.

Any help is appreciated!

the zotac version is one of the cheapest gtx 1050ti,You don't need any of this features like backplate or rgb if u don't have a side window, And you will never notice the differnce between this two card cause it own the same chip as gigabyte version

If the connector is present, it's a staple in terms of PC building that all connectors must be plugged in. If your PSU doesn't have the necessary connections, then the PSU is not even meant to be powering the system with your new GPU since it most probably will lack necessary power/rails to power your components.

You might want to pass on your full system's specs and you OS in case something's amiss. List them like so:
CPU:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:

CPU: i5 4460
Motherboard: gigabyte b85m
Ram: corsair vengeance 8 gb
SSD/HDD: 250gb HDD only. no ssd
GPU: currently using HD 6570.. hoping to get a 1050ti
PSU: Thermaltake 350W (with casing)

The Zotac version doesnt require a 6-pin connector. Would it be ok??
