Is this build good for schoolwork and video editing? I'm going to basically type essays, surf the web, and do some light video editing. I'm also going to be doing some work with coding and possibly app/game development. Is the gpu overkill for what I'm doing? I'm going to use it exclusively for video editing because I'm contemplating whether I should give up gaming or not. Also, is it alright that I'm going with 2 relatively cheap monitors? Or do I need one of those $330 True Resolution Display Color Color Saturation high tech monitors? Looking to save some money if I can (I'd prefer to keep the mouse and keyboard though because I heard they're really good). Thanks!

Thank you!!! Really!

Where are you located? I see Untied States but your alias tells me you're not from the US, sorry if I've discriminated but if you can provide a budget perhaps we can refine the build somewhat.

Ram, get at least 3200MHz frequency ram kits they will benefit your Ryzen platform.
If you're not going to be doing graphical work, then you'll be fine with the monitors otherwise I'd suggest getting something from Dell's Ultrasharp series.

I'm from the US, and I guess my max budget is 1500. I'm looking to save a bit if there's anything I don't need, but I'm generally not trying to spend more money. As for graphical work I won't be using photoshop or anything, just doing some beginner video editing. The three things I'm a bit conflicted about are: a) The keyboard. I am looking for a really comfortable mechanical keyboard (I'm going to be writing a LOT of essays using this keyboard) with rgb lighting. This keyboard fits what I'm looking for, but it's a little expensive and I was wondering if there is something that has the same quality but is a bit cheaper. b) I don't know if the gpu is overkill for beginner video editing or if it's good. and c) I chose the cheapest monitors I could find, and I was wondering if that's alright or if I should upgrade them. The farthest I'm going to go is light video editing so do I need the fancy graphic monitors or not? Thanks!
