That 2nd poster's is the exact one I use use: the NFSMW custom resolution fixer nfsmwres.zip. The executable is named nfsmwres.exe and it reads the settings in nfsmwres.ini.
I don't see it around any more but there's this one that I haven't tried.

This game doesn't support that resolution I don't think you will be able to play it in 1080p . Its too old for 1080p.
