hey i don't really want to upgrade my psu yet so im wandering if 350w is push past the limit on corsair vs350.
specs:
i5-3450
6gb ram
1060 3gb
hitachi 1tb 10k rpm
3 case fans + air cooler

thanks.

It will technically power the system (at first), but it is not recommended, especially not long-term; your PSU will be under a heavy load, heat and this will only lead to its demise over time. How long, impossible to tell, but it is downright certain to happen. To make matters even worse, Corsair VS is a tier 4 unit, basically a very bad quality in terms of internal components and longevity. By all means, get a better unit for such setup. A quality 450W+ PSU would do the job. Use the following list for reference, and get a unit from tiers 1 or 2 (tier 3 should also be decent if you don't intend to overclock):

At 75% peak utilization I wouldn't consider the PSU will be under heavy load; that will happen mainly when running stress tests. Personally I'd keep it until I can afford a better quality PSU, but I wouldn't be worried about the VS350. A lot of people own worse PSUs and they have no issues.
