Ok guy I have an asrock 990fx killer and I want to upgrade my cpu to i7 7700k but I don't know if it's compatible or not I'm not a computer person so I need help

They are certainly not compatible. Your motherboard is an AMD motherboard with an AM3 socket for specific AMD CPUs. The CPU you want to upgrade to, the i7-7700K, is an Intel CPU with an LGA1151 pin-out.
You need an Intel Z270 motherboard for such i7-7700K CPU.
