Motherboard: MSI Z270 Gaming m3

Gpu: Msi radeon rx 580 gaming x+ 8gb
HDD: st2000dm001-1ch164

I get random crashes when i watch youtube video's and play games. I've updated all my drivers multiple times and windows too. I can't seem to find a solution for the crash. Could it be that i might not have enough power for everything?

Solution

Test it and see what happens.

It's either the graphics card or the PSU.

If it works on the other PC get a new PSU, if not then replace/RMA...

I haven't tried that yet. I'm going to do some tests while he's plugged into the Mobo. Thank for the Tip.

I've done some tests with some demanding games on low graphics and i'm getting good temperatures. Every component stays below 35 °C. The crash has not happened since.

Thinking it may be the graphics card that was the issue, the reason why I said take it out.

Crashing watching YT videos was the big hint.

What is the issue then because it's the driver that's malfunctioning not the hardware that is malfunctioning. I'm going to test it on my other pc that used to run i quit smootly.

The Radeon drivers are solid, running another PC with an RX 480 and Windows 10.....
