Honestly, the AMD chip will be better for video editing and streaming. Intel chips are better for gaming, but you will need more than a 7700 for workstation type task.

The intel 7800x (6core, $389) or 7820x (8 core, $599) chips are what you would need. But these chips are very expensive and their motherboards cost at least $200. Additionally, these chips run very hot and require liquid cooling for stock clocks. So that will be an additionally $100. So if you are on a budget, I would not recommend these.

You can get a Ryzen 6 core for less than $200 and a Ryzen 8 core for less than $300. AMD has been absent from the CPU market for a long time, but the new Ryzen chips are very good. They are an incredible value when...

They are an incredible value when considering price vs performance. I say this and I have had Intel chips for a long time, but it is impossible not to give credit for how AMD has turned their CPU division around. If I were building a system today it would be hard for me not to go with AMD.
