I have a questions)is i7 1st gen worth over i5 2nd gen
Or i7 2nd gen worth over 2nd gen i5 for gaming with gtx 1050 ti
What would be the best?
Or any other suggestions for cpu (but also answer the above)

The 1st gen i7 is going to be comparable to a 2nd gen i5, and the 2nd gen i7 is going to be a pretty good upgrade to both. For gaming I know that the 2nd gen i7 works well from experience. The i5 may bottleneck some games like GTA V or other CPU intensive games.

I only want best gaming experience and I am considering i5 2nd gen and the 1050 ti.I want to play all the recent games at 1080p and also upcoming games like cod ww2 and nfs payback and I don't mind playing at 720p also

If that is the case, go with the i5, it may be perfectly fine with most games, especially at lower settings and resolution.

What are the max and min settings and resolution I can get
I just want smooth gaming experience and don't mind playing at low resolution at least 720p I guess and I don't have any other choice
