OK here goes.

Built my PC 2 years ago no issues, other than I'm using unactivated Win10 pro. 2 months ago my comp lost its boot priority with no warning. I can access the f11 boot menu and boot just fine to my SSD, but when i go into the del key BIOS menu I can't find the SSD to give it boot priority anymore.

Currently using a MSI krait edition z97 mobo

When posting a thread of troubleshooting nature, it's customary to include your full system's specs like so:
CPU:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS: Windows 10

If you can get into BIOS, it might be a good idea to update your BIOS if it wasn't prior to your installation of Windows 10. You may also(afterwards) try and remove CMOS battery and replace it after 15 minutes and see if the board detects the SSD. You might also want to try and remove all SATA DATA and power cables for all other SATA drives except for the one with your OS on it. Also make sure that the SSD is running off the first SATA port on your motherboard which is native to your chipset, often times it;s SATA3_1.
