I need to know if the ram will work with my mobo.

I was looking at getting https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231888&cm_re=ddr4_ram-_-20-231-888-_-Product DDR4 2400. Will it work with this mobo https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157543
Or do I need to find a different set of ram.

Yes the ram kit you've linked will drop into your X99 board without an issue. You might need to enable the X/M/P profile in order to get the ram to run at DDR4-2400MHz but outside of that you're good. If you intend to overclock on that X99 board, then pick out a DDR4-2800MHz kit.
