I have a Thermaltake Core V21 case that will allow me to mount the motherboard in any direction. For various reasons, three orientations won't work for me. Is there any reason I shouldn't mount a motherboard upside down (pci-e slots pointing downward, not inverted ATX)?

Oh, that kind of upside down... lol. I can't think of any reason it would be an issue. The gfx card is securely screwed in, the RAM sticks are locked in. Unless you have something attached that is held in place strictly by friction, there should be no problem.

The question is can I just flip the entire unit upside down or is there a technical reason motherboards shouldn't be run like that, like the possibility of expansion cards working their way loose.
