Hey guys,

My friend has a new pc, and he connected everything.
But now the keyboard and mouse won't work. They work fine in bios but after windows completed the install and aska for a computer name they both stop working. He doesnt have a PS2 connection on his motherboard so that isn't an option.

Can anyone help us please?

That is very odd! Can you restart the computer and boot into safe mode? Are the mouse and keyboard "regular" devices, or are they gaming style that may require their own special drivers? Have you tried with a different mouse and keyboard? Installing Windows should give you basic USB 2 drivers.
in which port the USB keyboard and mouse are connected? i dont have that issue and never seen but it can be USB driver issue?
the keyboard is working at the time of windows installing right?
what you can try also is to reset the bios settings just in case

They are now connected to an USB 2.0 port. But I tried every port on the computer none works. I can't install the driver for the USB because im stuck and the windows installing screen. (the one were you need to enter a PC name, which I can't do because the keyboard doesnt work)

You can use On screen Keyboard too
