7700K or 8700K

Solution
It's less than 2 weeks away from launch. I'd regret it if I didn't wait. The Core i7 8700K and Core i5 8600K are going to be a much needed step toward a more multicore design. Finally the Core i5 will be king again for gamers. You won't need more than a Core i5 8600K for gaming anymore.

but hexa core isnt for gaming right?

Games have started to go for more than 4 cores now. The old i5 have trouble in some games so the new 6 core i5 will be a good option. And if it sucks you can just go ryzen or something else.

"Leaks" are popping up, the closer we get the more accurate they will be and the day is coming, but to answer no I haven't seen that just the typical charts talking about the 6 core setups, they seem like they are going be beast!
