Hello guys, I would like to ask you if my new PC build is going to be handled by my "older" power source (Fortron AX400-60APN). My new compoments are:
GFX: EVGA GeForce GTX 1050 Tí GAMING (300W)
CPU: AMD RYZEN 3 1200 (80W)
MB: MSI B350 GAMING PRO
RAM: Corsair 8GB KIT DDR4 3000MHz CL15 Vengeance LPX

Thanks for answers.

Solution
no reason to replace the psu. what you have should be fine.

and the 80+ is desired over a non 80+ rated psu. even better is 80+ bronze/silver/gold...

Hi,

ehm with a lot of luck it will work but i'd definetely buy a new PSU.
Your PSU only has one 4pin cpu-power connector, but your processor needs two 4pin connectors.
In some cases, the pc will run perfectly when only one 4 pin connector is plugged in but i don't suggest that :p
You chose a B350 chipset mainboard which supports overclocking but it will be impossible because of your "weak" PSU.
You can test it out if it will work, you won't damage anything IMO. (But as already been said: get a new psu [500W min].

Greetings,

Rule here is simple.
Psu -- 100$
other parts 1000$
going 100% of capabilities will create HEAT and lower lifespan of PSU, and damaged PSU will fry other parts.
worth the risk ?

just one thing
EVGA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti FTW GAMING, 04G-P4-6258-KR, 4GB GDDR5, ACX 3.0 04G-P4-6258 1379 /
1493 1 ACX 3.0 6-Pin 4+1 120W No No

1050 is 120W + 80 core is 200W not 400.

Technically, it has enough power to, according to MSI (https://us.msi.com/power-supply-calculator). But, as Twin-Frozr-1212mV said, you're main issue is the old power supply only having a 4-pin CPU Connector. That being said, you can get adapters if you're fixed on using your old power supply (https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16812423185).

the 1050TI does not use 300W, it uses 75W max, the 300W is what Nividia sugest you use for an entire computer with that card in it, so 400W is plenty. You might need adaptors because it is an older PSU, like Reepime says, but power you will have enough of.
