Hello World, I wanted to ask some of you of wither I should get an SSD or a brand new Monitor. I've been wondering this question and I am only able to afford one of these. Let me explain, I had my old Samsung monitor for about 8 years so far and I have noticed nothing wrong with it. But I would also want to get a new SSD to speed up my PC and not wait for long during my loading screens.
If any of you would kindly help me out it would be appreciated.

Yes, i would 1,000000% get an SSD! I have one in my old rig (see my name badge) That uses SATA2 - or 3 i forget now! lol. You have 4 x SATA 6Gb/s connectors available so will be running at full speed! Windows loading time will drastically improve, and so will game loading times. Go with a Samsung EVO (size of your choice) Very very highly recommended drives on Tom's HW. Have a look at what amount of space your current HDD is using, because if you 'clone' the drive, you will need an SSD big enough! You can still use your HDD as another drive for vids, pics ect.

The time for speed has come mate!

Well the specs about my PC are really good, since I saved up a lot of money and planned everything and made my PC almost a beast machine and I like my monitor to be honest. So do you still think I should get an SSD?

PC specs:
CPU: Core i7 7700K 4.2 Gz
GPU: GTX 1060 6GB
MOBO: Gigabyte h110m-s2
RAM: 16GB Kingstone (2 sticks of 8GB)
HHD: 2TB
PSU: 500W

I think that my pc will use the SSD quite well. Can you confirm it for me?

Thank you so much my friend. I have been saving up for about 3 years (to buy the parts for my new pc) and finally I can buy a new SSD and experience everything drastically faster. I can't thank you enough for your assistance.

Goodbye my friend and I hope we meet again some day.

Hey, no problem man, for your rig it is a very simple, but very effective choice to install an SSD. Especially with the samsung's they have their own migration software that is free to download! Makes the process extremely easy. If you require help to clone your drive, do come and find me and i will be only to happy to send you the process.

Speak soon mate, and happy installing!

Kind regards,
Kenton.
