im not sure if the power supply is silver or gold or any other since i have it layong around, but it says it has 500w

It should be fine. But you really need to get a quality PSU to run your system or you can damage your components. I would recommend a quality PSU from EVGA, Corsair, or Seasonic.

More than enough. A 400w would be fine in that system with those components. Like they've said above, go with Quality. 80 Plus gold is my recommendation. If you have silver thats fine too.

The VS series is the bottom of the corsair lineup. There are worse PSUs out there though. Considering you have a decent system, I would go with a step above the VS. The one below has more watts than you need, but was priced better. It will leave you some room in case you upgrade to a bigger GPU in the future
