Is my RAM correct

Solution
That RAM is compatible with your CPU and motherboard. However, you need to compare the model numbers of your current RAM, even if they match, you may have issues.

RAM is sold in kits because they have been tested to work together. Your best option is to buy a 16gb kit and sell you 8gb kit. It will cost more money but it will work. If you buy the 8gb kit there is a chance that it will not work and you would have to take it back.

Incompatible RAMs can cause issues, most common one being PC not booting. If you look at your RAM stick, there should be a tag on it with all the specifications. Take a picture of it and post it here. Or compare it with the specs on the link that you added. If the RAM stick says "DDR4 2666 (PC4 21300) " it's the right RAM.
